"NARU FACTORY" is a factory brand created by Minamide Meriyasu, which has its own factory in Izumiotsu, Osaka, with the concept of "clothes that enrich the soul."

The Senshu region, including Izumiotsu City, developed as a cotton cultivation and cotton textile production area during the Edo period, and from the Meiji period onwards as a major textile production area for spinning, towels, blankets, etc. Minamiide ​​Meriyasu, founded in 1953, is based on the Senshu spirit and technology of "being close to thread and fabric and supporting people's lives," and carries out everything from material selection to design, cutting, knitting, sewing and finishing in its own factory, producing clothes that are loved by generations.

The "NARU" in the brand name comes from the kanji character "成" which means "to achieve something naturally" or "to create connections."
