Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten was founded in 1716 in Nara Prefecture as a wholesale dealer of "Nara Sarashi," a high-grade linen fabric. For over 300 years, successive owners have continued to create products that fit the lifestyles of each era. Currently, with the vision of "Energizing Japanese crafts!", they collaborate with artisans nationwide to deliver practical "daily tools" that add color to modern life.

Among their products, the "Hana Fukin" and "Kayaori Fukin" are signature masterpieces. These dishcloths, created by focusing on the functionality of mosquito net fabric, a specialty of Nara, boast excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties. Since multiple layers of fabric are carefully sewn together, they are very durable and long-lasting, becoming softer and more familiar to the hand with continued use. In 2008, their design and practicality were highly praised, earning them the Good Design Award's "Gold Award."
