Garage, a gauze clothing studio in Kyoto, was started with a love of crafting, a love of clothes, and a love of making things from scratch. From design, patterns, sewing, and dyeing, the husband-and-wife team, Nakanishi Tatsuya and Yoko, are in charge of everything.

100% natural cotton gauze fabric that is absorbent and lightweight. It feels good on the skin, gets softer the more you wash it, and feels good against the skin.

Gauze is an excellent fabric that has moderate breathability and heat retention, making it suitable for all seasons. It is also one of the most gentle fabrics on the skin, and has long been used for baby clothes.

Garage's gauze clothing is characterized by the use of this single gauze fabric on the bias (diagonal) surface.

Using bias stitching does not make the fabric more efficient, but it creates excellent elasticity in both the vertical and horizontal directions, and the fabric will gradually change to fit your body shape as you wear it.
