Masaaki Watanabe of Watanabe Studio is a watch maker who creates watches one by one by hand in his studio located in downtown Tokyo. He creates many watches that are full of the deep expression and warmth that can only be achieved through handcrafting.

Watanabe handcrafts everything from making the watch parts such as the case, dial, and strap to assembling them.

This handmade watch features a dial with spirally arranged indexes and a thick case that gives it a unique presence.

A three-dimensional dial that makes you want to peer into it

The black hands are easy to see.

A unique design with the hours and minutes slightly overlapping.

The classic cute engraved numbers bring out the warmth of handmade items. The brass case will deepen in color the more you use it, giving it a unique character.

The case is thick. If you look at it from an angle, you can see the spirally arranged indexes.

This is a small model with a case diameter of about 30 mm and a thickness of about 17 mm. The strap that supports the solid watch body is about 3.1 mm thick.
