Masaaki Watanabe of Watanabe Kobo is a watch artisan who handcrafts each timepiece one by one in his workshop located in the downtown area of Tokyo. He creates many timepieces that are brimming with warmth and a deep, soulful expression only possible through handmade craft.

Watanabe handles everything from the production of parts like the case, dial, and strap to the final assembly, all by hand. His variety of work is vast, ranging from simple designs suitable for both casual and business settings to creative, uniquely individual models. Crafted through a highly time-consuming process, these watches offer a sense of warmth and comfort not found in mass-produced items.

For case materials, he uses brass and silver, which allow the owner to enjoy the charm that comes with aging over time. For the leather straps, he uses genuine, high-quality, thick leather that offers an excellent fit, combining quality and a strong presence. They possess a warmth that only grows more endearing as time passes.

The characters used are large-format (Kanji numerals), exuding a refined Japanese atmosphere.

From the popular "Wa no Koku" Japanese watch series by Watanabe Kobo comes an automatic movement model, allowing you to enjoy the unique charm of a mechanical watch where the mainspring is automatically wound by the movement of your arm.

The case is a cushion type, featuring a round dial set within a rounded-square frame.
With a case diameter of 38mm, it is a size that is easy for both men and women to wear.

The warranty period is one year from the date of purchase. However, the warranty covers only internal malfunctions; external parts such as the case and strap are not covered.
