graphzero Denim brand from Kurashiki/Kojima Original jeans/pants/denim

graphzero

The Kojima area in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture is the birthplace of domestic jeans and one of the world's leading jeans producers. Established in the spring of 2004 in this area, [Graph Zero] is an up-and-coming denim brand that is attracting attention for its original jeans that have undergone manual dyeing and color fading processing, which are not profitable for major brands.

Graph Zero began when Mr. Tetsuya Suzuki, a modern representative born in a fabric shop in Kojima, Kurashiki, asked local jeans craftsmen to create a denim brand from Kojima. In response to the proposal, members familiar with jeans making, from fabrics, sewing, dyeing, and processing, gathered together to create Graph Zero.

Graph Zero, which was started with 800,000 yen donated by members, began to attract attention mainly from jeans enthusiasts due to its rarity and high design. In less than two years since the brand was established, it has been widely featured in fashion magazines, television and radio, as well as trade magazines such as Nikkei MJ (Nikkei Ryutsu Shimbun) and Senken Shimbun.

The brand name "graph zero" has the meaning of "starting manufacturing from the zero point of the graph". The members who are most upstream in jeans production know the latest jeans trends quickly and are working on cutting-edge manufacturing. In addition to the original jeans that you can feel the taste and depth unique to craftsmen's handwork, we are producing standard denim, T-shirts, tops, etc. that are particular about materials and sewing.
