Hasegawa Shoten is a textile manufacturer based in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, that has been purchasing natural fibers such as silk directly from all over the world, turning them into thread and fabric, and supplying them to the world's top brands since it was founded in 1966. Since 2007, they have introduced knitting machines, twisting machines, and whole garment knitting machines that knit three-dimensionally without seams, and have been manufacturing products in an integrated system using silk threads developed in-house.

Silk is the thinnest of all natural fibers, and is made of proteins containing amino acids, and is excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture, deodorizing, retaining moisture, blocking UV rays, and is also a material that is less likely to cause allergies.
