Established in January 2016, "waji Co., Ltd." is a group of professional craftsmen, from veteran craftsmen to young designers. Hiroki Sugano, the representative who likes "antique doors", and Rui Sekine, who used to work at "Glass Factory", met to get started.

Based on the brand concept of Habito's "manufacturing that unexpectedly surprises", Mr. Sugano and Mr. Sekine have always wanted to create something that they have always wanted to create... the fusion of real glass and leather "glart" series.

The leather uses vegetable tannin and chrome tanned cow leather.

The craftsmen carefully apply the wax that is also used for harnesses one by one. The unevenness due to handwork and the natural expression peculiar to leather (blood lines, wrinkles, moles, etc.) are attractive and have a unique stiffness. Of course, it is a leather that can be enjoyed over time.

The glass was jointly developed with Tomi Glass, a long-established glass manufacturer in downtown Tokyo.

It is a light and durable tempered glass that took two years to develop. The glass used is specially processed at a factory that processes car headlights, etc., to ensure strength.
