The Kojima region of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, is the birthplace of Japanese jeans and one of the world's leading jeans production areas. Founded here in the spring of 2004, Graph Zero is an up-and-coming denim brand that has been gaining attention for its original jeans, which are hand-dyed and faded in a way that is not profitable for major brands.

The design source is the 1940s "War Model 1st Type."
During World War II, the denim jackets worn by workers were simplified due to material restrictions, with only four front buttons and no pocket flaps. Jeans items based on this model have become popular in recent years.

The front features the "action pleats" that are a feature of the 1st and 2nd types.
As workwear of the time, it played a role in enhancing functionality such as ease of movement.

The warp threads of the fabric are dyed in indigo and green indigo and woven randomly.
The weft thread is made of natural yarn, and both the warp and weft are made of slub yarn, resulting in a fabric that is unique to graphzero, with a rough texture that can be enjoyed.

The rough, hand-woven texture is also attractive, and the more you wear them, the more you can enjoy the changes in color fading that are unique to skein dyeing, which is different from rope dyeing.
