SEED Female Painter Fumiko Sugita Stencil Dyed & Hand-Drawn Japanese Pattern T-shirt Short Sleeve Black Rainbow Goldfish and Lotus Men's Women's

Gracefully blooming lotus flowers and fluttering goldfish...
A refreshing design that makes you feel as if you are gently looking into the surface of the water on a quiet summer morning.

It is a T-shirt made using a mold designed with goldfish and lotus, which are the favorite motifs of artist Fumiko Sugita.
Goldfish and lotuses are expressed in stencil dyeing using a technique called “bassen” that removes the color of the dye on a black background! On top of that, we add a soft color and design a lively goldfish and an elegant lotus! Because it uses 3 colors, it is very gorgeous! !

Just wearing a T-shirt with a round design of a cute goldfish swimming happily with its tail fluttering and a cool lotus will make you feel like summer!

The vivid goldfish and lotus pattern is the focal point for not only casual coordination with denim or khaki pants and sneakers, but also for cool and refreshing coordination with denim skirts and fluffy cotton skirts. I think it fits! !

Available in a wide variety of sizes for both ladies and men!
Enjoy wearing a cute T-shirt that you'll want to wear every day! !

Since ancient times, goldfish have not been loved as pets in Japan, and were not seen as patterns. In China, it was regarded as one of the Eight Treasures, but it is said that it came to be generally loved in Japan after the mid-Edo period. It will also appear in paintings, etc. along with other fish. Goldfish began to appear on kimonos in the Taisho and Showa eras, and their splendid appearance and slightly buttery smell were adopted as a pattern on the kimonos of my daughters and loved by them. Goldfish are cool and elegant, so they are often worn in midsummer, and have become a standard pattern for yukata, from infants to daughters.

It is said to have originated in India, and was introduced to Japan through China. Lotus is an abbreviation of "honeycomb", and the flowerbed (yellow part in the center of the flower) that contains the fruit has many holes and resembles a beehive. It is said that it is said that it is because the seeds are attached in a row. It blooms on summer mornings with flower stalks up to the surface of the water, opens early in the morning and closes around 3:00 pm. The flower opens and closes three times, and on the fourth day the petals fall, making it a very mysterious flower. It also appears in many Buddhist scriptures under the name of “Renge”, and its shape is often used for the pedestals of Buddhist statues.
